한 푸빠의 시인

A loyal supporter of the Kremlin’s war recognises the Ukrainians’ popular hatred against the Russian occupation

It is well known that Putin and his ideologists have repeatedly denied the existence of a separate Ukrainian nation. They claim that the Russians and Ukrainians are rather “one people – a single whole”. In a famous essay, published last year, the Russian President states: “I am confident that true sovereignty of Ukraine is possible only in partnership with Russia.” [1]

It is therefore only consistent that the Putinists characterise the Kremlin’s invasion of the Ukraine as a war for the liberation of the people from the “dictatorship of the Bandera fascists in Kyiv”.

It is particularly shameful that most so-called “Communist” parties in Russia – Zyuganov’s KPRF, the RKRP, OKP etc. – basically share this view, reflecting the total capitulation of revisionist Stalinism to Great Russian chauvinism. [2]

At this place, we will not repeat our critique of such “Ruskij Mir” nonsense. The RCIT has explained in numerous documents that Putin’s invasion of the Ukraine is a reactionary war. We stand for the defense of the Ukraine and for the defeat of Russian imperialism. At the same time, we oppose both imperialist camps – Russia as well as NATO. [3]

Here, we would like to draw attention to an interesting article which has been published recently by an anonymous Russian blogger and which has been translated by a well-known Western Putinista. ^[4]

The author is a loyal supporter of the Kremlin’s war – pardon, the “Special Military Operation” as the Putinists like to call it. His article presents a sober and interesting discussion of the goals and difficulties of Russia’s war – of course from a Putinist perspective. However, what is of particular interest is the authors’ acknowledgement of the attitude of the Ukrainian people to the Kremlin’s invasion.

In the Putinist world of phantasy, the "brotherly people" could not but welcome the occupation by the Russian army since it would supposedly help them to get rid of the “Bandera fascists”. The Russian blogger is free of such illusions and has a more sober view about the situation on the ground.

“The military potential of Russia makes it quite easy to conquer Ukraine. But it would be difficult to hold onto it. Especially given the anti-Russian ideological indoctrination in Ukraine which has now lasted eight years. In this scenario, we would confront a large, disloyal population which, with the support of the West, would give rise to hundreds of sabotage and terrorist groups. If the West refuses to support Ukraine, we reduce this problem and get the opportunity to solve the Ukrainian problem with minimal casualties and without the risk of a ‘hot war’ with the NATO bloc.”

This is a powerful admission that the ideological justification of Putin’s war is based on a pack of lies. The Ukrainians have no desire whatsoever to become liberated by Russian tanks! They are rather determined to fight the imperialist occupation by any means necessary!

Of course, the Putinist blogger claims that without the military aid of Western states, the Russian army could “solve the Ukrainian problem with minimal casualties.” As a matter of fact, Putin’s occupation forces would face hell on earth even without Western weapons for the Ukrainian partisans. Just think about the experience of U.S. imperialism when they occupied Afghanistan [5] and Iraq [6] for many years. They also thought that they could “solve the problem with minimal casualties.” In fact, they lost thousands of soldiers and were driven out by heroic popular insurgency!

Of course, it is not surprising that a supporter of Russia’s war against the Ukraine holds optimistic views about their chances of success. It is however remarkable that a Putinist has to acknowledge that the Ukrainian people hate the Russian invaders and that they are determined to wage a popular insurgency against the imperialist occupation! So it is and so it will be!

푸틴과 푸틴파 이데올로그들이 별개의 우크라이나 민족의 존재를 반복해서 부인해 온 것은 잘 알려진 사실이다. 러시아와 우크라이나는 "한 민족 - 하나의 전체"라고 그들은 주장한다. 푸틴 러시아 대통령은 작년에 발표한 유명한 논문에서 이렇게 밝히고 있다. "우크라이나의 진정한 주권은 오직 러시아와의 파트너십 속에서만 가능하다고 나는 확신한다."[1]

따라서 푸틴주의자-푸빠들이 러시아의 우크라이나 침공을 "키에프의 반데라 파시스트들의 지배"로부터 인민을 해방시키기 위한 전쟁으로 성격규정 하는 것은, 그들의 논리에서는 일관적이다.

러시아의 소위 "공산주의"당들 ㅡ 주가노프의 러시아연방공산당(KPRF), 공노당(RKRP), OKP 등 ㅡ 이 이러한 견해를 공유하는 행보를 취하고 있는 것은 특히 낯 뜨거운 일이다. 이는 수정주의적 스탈린주의의, 대러시아 배외주의에의 완전한 투항을 보여주는 행각이다. 저들 당들이 대러시아 배외주의에 허리 굽혀 그 깃발을 받아서 노동운동·민중운동 속에서 흔들어내고 있는 것이다.[2]

여기서는 그러한 "루스키 미르 (러시아 세계)" 헛소리에 대한 우리의 비판을 반복하지 않을 것이다. RCIT는 수많은 문서에서 푸틴의 우크라이나 침공은 반동적 전쟁이라고 설명해했다. 이 전쟁에서 우리는 줄곧 “우크라이나의 방어와 러시아 제국주의의 패배”를 내걸어왔다. 동시에, 우리는 줄곧 러시아와 나토 양 제국주의 진영 모두에 반대해왔다.[3]

이 글에서는 익명의 러시아인 블로거가 최근 발표한 한 흥미로운 기사에 대해 독자들을 주목시키고자 한다. (이 기사는 잘 알려진 한 서방 푸틴주의자가 영역하여 게시해놓기도 했다.)[4]

저자는 러시아의 전쟁 ㅡ 아니, 푸파들이 좋아하는 표현으로 “특별군사작전”이라고 해야겠지만 ㅡ 을 지지하는 충실한 푸파다. 그의 글은 푸틴 전쟁의 목표와 난점들에 대한 냉철하고 흥미로운 분석 논리를 제시한다. 그러나 특히 흥미로운 점은 러시아의 침공에 대한 우크라이나 인민의 태도를 저자가 숨기지 못하고 인정하고 있는 점이다.

푸틴주의 판타지 세계에서는, 러시아 군대의 점령이 “형제 인민”을 도와 “반데라 파시스트들”을 제거해주므로 “형제 인민”으로선 러시아 군대의 점령을 환영하지 않을 수 없다. 그러나 이 러시아 블로거는 그러한 환상에서 벗어나 현장의 상황에 대해 보다 냉철한 견해를 가지고 있다.

"러시아의 군사적 잠재력으로 볼 때 우크라이나 정복은 아주 쉬운 일이다. 하지만 정복을 계속 유지하기란 어려울 것이다. 특히 현재 8년이나 지속되어온 우크라이나의 반러시아 이데올로기적 세뇌를 고려할 때 더더욱 그렇다. 이 시나리오에서 우리는 수백 개의 사보타주 및 테러 집단들 ㅡ 서방의 지지를 받는 ㅡ 을 일으켜낼 대규모의 불충한 주민과 맞닥뜨릴 것이다. 서방이 우크라이나를 지지하길 거부한다면, 이 문제는 경감될 것이며 우리는 최소한의 사상자로, 나토 블록과의 '열전'의 위험 없이 우크라이나 문제를 해결할 수 있는 기회를 얻는다.“

이는 푸틴 전쟁에 대한 이데올로기적 정당화가 한 다발의 거짓말에 바탕하고 있음을 강력하게 시인하는 발언이다. 우크라이나인들에게는 러시아 탱크에 의해 해방되어지고 싶은 바람 같은 것은 전혀 없다! 오히려 우크라이나 인민은 필요한 모든 수단을 동원해서 제국주의 점령과 싸우기로 결심했다!

물론, 이 푸빠 블로거는 서방 국가들의 군사적 원조가 없다면, 러시아군이 "최소한의 사상자로 우크라이나 문제를 해결할 수 있을 거"라고 주장한다. 실제로는, 푸틴의 점령군은 우크라이나 파르티잔들에게 서방의 무기가 원조되지 않더라도 생지옥에 직면할 것이다. 미 제국주의가 아프간[5]과 이라크[6]를 점령했을 때 미제가 겪었던 상황을 생각해보라. 미 제국주의도 "최소한의 사상자로 문제를 해결할 수 있을 거"라고 생각했다. 실제로는, 미제는 수천 명의 군인을 전사시켰고 피점령 민중의 영웅적인 반란으로 쫓겨났다!

러시아의 우크라이나에 대한 전쟁을 지지하는 사람이 그들의 성공 가능성에 대해 낙관적인 견해를 가지고 있는 것은, 물론 놀라운 일이 아니다. 하지만 푸파가 우크라이나 인민이 러시아 침략자들을 증오하며 제국주의 점령에 맞서 민중 반란을 벌이기로 결심했다는 것을 인정하지 않을 수 없다는 것은 놀라운 일이다! 그래, 그럴 거야!
