1.           A conference of the United Nations, initiated by France and Saudi Arabia and attended by 125 countries, issued a so-called “New York Declaration” which proclaims to offer a long-term solution for the suffering of the Palestinian people. The declaration has been endorsed by Türkiye, France, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Norway, Qatar, Senegal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the Arab League. Furthermore, the Prime Minsters of Britain and Canada announced that they would recognize the state of Palestine before the UN Assembly in September under certain conditions.

2.           The “New York Declaration” states: “We agreed to take collective action to end the war in Gaza, to achieve a just, peaceful and lasting settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the effective implementation of the two-State solution, and to build a better future for Palestinians, Israelis and all peoples of the region.” It also calls for the “unhindered delivery of humanitarian assistance” to Gaza. The declaration denounces Israel’s attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure in Gaza and its “siege and starvation, which have produced a devastating humanitarian catastrophe and protection crisis.” However, it puts the violence of the oppressor and the oppressed on the same level as it also condemns “the attacks committed by Hamas against civilians” in southern Israel on 7 October 2023. Shamefully, this marks the first condemnation by Arab states of Hamas.

3.           Worse, the declaration demands that “Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons to the Palestinian Authority”. It also calls for “the deployment of a temporary international stabilization mission” which would mean nothing but an occupation force to control Gaza and to disarm the heroic Palestinian resistance. While the declaration puts no limits to the hyper-militarised nuclear power Israel, it demands that a Palestinian state in West Bank and Gaza must have “no intention to be a militarized State and is ready to work on security arrangements beneficial to all parties”. In other words, such a state must be demilitarised and accept the security arrangements beneficial to Israel.

4.           The Revolutionary Communist International Tendency (RCIT) and the Internationalist Socialist League (RCIT Section in Israel/Occupied Palestine) warn that those who sympathise with the Palestinian people should have no illusions: the Franco-Saudi plan for a “two-state solution” is a dangerous trap! While imperialist powers and capitalist governments of the Global South pretend to support the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, in reality, they advocate the disarmament of the resistance and the subjugation of the Palestinian people. Such a Palestinian state would be an impoverished and demilitarised mini-Bantustan completely dependent on the Zionist settler state and providing it with cheap labor – similar to the small pseudo-states in Apartheid South Africa. Furthermore, such a “solution” would deny all Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland from which they were expelled by the Zionists in 1948 and 1967. In short, the “two-state solution” means the denial of the Palestinians’ right to national self-determination.

5.           According to the “New York Declaration”, such a state should be governed by the Palestinian Authority of the illegitimate President Mahmoud Abbas who has forbidden any election since 2006 when Hamas became the strongest party. The regime of Abbas, based on the treacherous Oslo Accords of 1993, has acted as an agent of the Zionist state as it never fought against Israeli forces but rather collaborated with them in repressing the Palestinian resistance. No wonder that it is deeply despised by the Palestinian masses! It is clear that a mini-Bantustan ruled by Abbas or a similar tyrant would arrest, torture, or disappear anyone who dares to resist the oppression.

6.           Nevertheless, Israel and the U.S. strongly denounce the Franco-Saudi plan for a “two-state solution”, saying that it “emboldens Hamas”, “rewards terror” and that a Palestinian state would be a “launchpad to annihilate Israel.” The reasons for their opposition are clear. First, the Zionists and their American masters want to annex the territories in Gaza and West Bank and expel the Palestinian population. Second, the genocide supporters understand all too well the reasons why France and Saudi Arabia have initiated this plan. The “New York Declaration” has been launched at this very moment not because Israel has been committing a genocide. It is not because the Israeli Jewish population opposes the genocide – in fact, 80% of them support it. It is only because of the heroic resistance in Gaza which the Zionists have failed to defeat despite one of the worst genocides of modern history as well as the huge and courageous mass movement which organizes global support for the Palestinian people. It is this solidarity movement and the Palestinian resistance which have created such global pressure that now even the loyal supporters of the Zionists have to publicly distance themselves from the settler state. In other words, since the Zionist monster fails to break the Palestinian resistance with the methods of genocide, European imperialist powers and Arab tyrants try to pacify the global Intifada by a Plan B which supposedly accepts the Palestinians’ right to national self-determination.

7.           The RCIT and the ISL reiterate that the only solution is the destruction of the Zionist terror state and its replacement by a free and red Palestine from the River to the Sea. Such a secular and democratic Palestinian state would enable all refugees to return to their homes. At the same time, it would guarantee equal cultural and religious rights for all citizens (including the Jewish minority). It should be a workers and fellahin republic as part of a socialist federation of the Middle East. Such a state will be the result of the combination of the Palestinians’ resistance struggle with the Arab Revolution overthrowing the tyrants and/or a severe military defeat of the Zionist state.

8.           We can expect that many liberals, reformists and even some centrists will welcome the “New York Declaration” as a step in the right direction. Likewise, it is possible that some (petty-)bourgeois leaders of Palestinian parties (including Hamas) might opportunistically jump on the bandwagon. For example, the Stalinist Hadash in Israel did already express their appreciation of Macron’s plan. Such support represents nothing but betrayal of the Palestinian liberation struggle!

9.           The RCIT and the ISL call all sincere supporters of the Palestinians’ fight for freedom to denounce the Franco-Saudi plan and its Bantustan “two-state solution”. The latest developments underline the urgency to build an anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist pole within the pro-Palestine solidarity movement. Those who reject the “two-state solution”, who support the replacement of the Zionist entity with a Palestinian state and who side with the military resistance against the Zionist/imperialist aggression, should join forces. Such a bloc needs to fight against the influence of liberal and reformist forces within the movement which support the Franco-Saudi plan. Its goal must be to replace such capitulationist forces with an authentic anti-imperialist and anti-Zionist leadership.

Una conferencia de las Naciones Unidas, impulsada por Francia y Arabia Saudí y con la participación de 125 países, emitió la denominada “Declaración de Nueva York”, que proclama ofrecer una solución a largo plazo al sufrimiento del pueblo palestino. La declaración ha sido respaldada por Turquía, Francia, Arabia Saudí, Brasil, Canadá, Egipto, Indonesia, Irlanda, Italia, Japón, Jordania, México, Noruega, Qatar, Senegal, España, el Reino Unido, la Unión Europea y la Liga Árabe. Además, los primeros ministros de Gran Bretaña y Canadá anunciaron que reconocerían el Estado de Palestina ante la Asamblea de la ONU en septiembre bajo ciertas condiciones.

2. La “Declaración de Nueva York” afirma: “Acordamos tomar medidas colectivas para poner fin a la guerra en Gaza, lograr una solución justa, pacífica y duradera del conflicto israelí-palestino basada en la implementación efectiva de la solución de dos Estados y construir un futuro mejor para palestinos, israelíes y todos los pueblos de la región”. También exige la “entrega sin trabas de asistencia humanitaria” a Gaza. La declaración denuncia los ataques de Israel contra civiles e infraestructuras civiles en Gaza y su “asedio y hambruna, que han provocado una devastadora catástrofe humanitaria y una crisis de protección”. Sin embargo, equipara la violencia del opresor y de los oprimidos, al tiempo que condena “los ataques cometidos por Hamás contra civiles” en el sur de Israel el 7 de octubre de 2023. Vergonzosamente, esta es la primera condena de Hamás por parte de los Estados árabes.

3. Peor aún, la declaración exige que “Hamás ponga fin a su dominio en Gaza y entregue sus armas a la Autoridad Palestina”. También exige el despliegue de una misión internacional temporal de estabilización, lo que no significaría más que una fuerza de ocupación para controlar Gaza y desarmar a la heroica resistencia palestina. Si bien la declaración no impone límites a la hipermilitarizada potencia nuclear de Israel, exige que un Estado palestino en Cisjordania y Gaza “no tenga intención de convertirse en un Estado militarizado y esté dispuesto a trabajar en acuerdos de seguridad beneficiosos para todas las partes”. En otras palabras, dicho Estado debe estar desmilitarizado y aceptar los acuerdos de seguridad beneficiosos para Israel.

4. La Corriente Comunista Revolucionaria Internacional (CCRI) y la Liga Socialista Internacionalista (Sección de la CCRI en Israel/Palestina Ocupada) advierten que quienes simpatizan con el pueblo palestino no deben hacerse ilusiones: ¡el plan franco-saudí de una "solución de dos Estados" es una trampa peligrosa! Mientras las potencias imperialistas y los gobiernos capitalistas del Sur Global fingen apoyar el derecho del pueblo palestino a la autodeterminación, en realidad abogan por el desarme de la resistencia y la subyugación del pueblo palestino. Un Estado palestino de este tipo sería un minibantustán empobrecido y desmilitarizado, completamente dependiente del Estado colono sionista, que le proporcionaría mano de obra barata, similar a los pequeños pseudoestados de la Sudáfrica del apartheid. Además, dicha "solución" negaría a todos los refugiados palestinos el regreso a su patria, de la que fueron expulsados por los sionistas en 1948 y 1967. En resumen, la "solución de dos Estados" significa la negación del derecho de los palestinos a la autodeterminación nacional.

5. Según la "Declaración de Nueva York", dicho Estado debería estar gobernado por la Autoridad Palestina del presidente ilegítimo Mahmud Abás, quien ha prohibido cualquier elección desde 2006, cuando Hamás se convirtió en el partido más fuerte. El régimen de Abás, basado en los traicioneros Acuerdos de Oslo de 1993, ha actuado como agente del Estado sionista, ya que nunca luchó contra las fuerzas israelíes, sino que colaboró con ellas en la represión de la resistencia palestina. ¡No es de extrañar que sea profundamente despreciado por las masas palestinas! Es evidente que un minibantustán gobernado por Abbas o un tirano similar arrestaría, torturaría o desaparecería a cualquiera que se atreviera a resistir la opresión.

6. Sin embargo, Israel y Estados Unidos denuncian enérgicamente el plan franco-saudí de una "solución de dos Estados", alegando que "envalentona a Hamás", "premia el terrorismo" y que un Estado palestino sería una "plataforma de lanzamiento para aniquilar a Israel". Las razones de su oposición son claras. En primer lugar, los sionistas y sus amos estadounidenses quieren anexar los territorios de Gaza y Cisjordania y expulsar a la población palestina. En segundo lugar, quienes apoyan el genocidio comprenden perfectamente las razones por las que Francia y Arabia Saudí han puesto en marcha este plan. La "Declaración de Nueva York" se ha lanzado en este preciso momento no porque Israel haya estado cometiendo un genocidio. No se debe a que la población judía israelí se oponga al genocidio; de hecho, el 80% lo apoya. Se debe únicamente a la heroica resistencia en Gaza, que los sionistas no han logrado derrotar a pesar de uno de los peores genocidios de la historia moderna, así como al enorme y valiente movimiento de masas que organiza el apoyo global al pueblo palestino. Es este movimiento de solidaridad y la resistencia palestina los que han generado tal presión global que ahora incluso los leales partidarios del sionismo se ven obligados a distanciarse públicamente del estado colono. En otras palabras, dado que el monstruo sionista no logra quebrar la resistencia palestina con métodos genocidas, las potencias imperialistas europeas y los tiranos árabes intentan pacificar la Intifada global con un Plan B que supuestamente acepta el derecho palestino a la autodeterminación nacional.

7. La CCRI y la ISL reiteran que la única solución es la destrucción del estado terrorista sionista y su reemplazo por una Palestina libre y roja desde el río Nilo hasta el mar. Un estado palestino laico y democrático permitiría a todos los refugiados regresar a sus hogares. Al mismo tiempo, garantizaría la igualdad de derechos culturales y religiosos para todos los ciudadanos (incluida la minoría judía). Debería ser una república obrera y fellahin como parte de una federación socialista de Oriente Medio. Tal estado será el resultado de la combinación de la lucha de resistencia palestina con la Revolución Árabe que derroque a los tiranos y/o una severa derrota militar del estado sionista.

8. Cabe esperar que muchos liberales, reformistas e incluso algunos centristas acojan la "Declaración de Nueva York" como un paso en la dirección correcta. Asimismo, es posible que algunos líderes (pequeño)burgueses de partidos palestinos (incluido Hamás) se sumen oportunistamente a la iniciativa. Por ejemplo, el estalinista Hadash en Israel ya expresó su aprecio por el plan de Macron. ¡Este apoyo no representa más que una traición a la lucha de liberación palestina!

9. La CCRI y la ISL llaman a todos los sinceros partidarios de la lucha palestina por la libertad a denunciar el plan franco-saudí y su "solución de dos Estados" de los bantustanes. Los últimos acontecimientos subrayan la urgencia de construir un polo antiimperialista y antisionista dentro del movimiento de solidaridad pro-Palestina. Quienes rechazan la "solución de dos Estados", apoyan la sustitución de la entidad sionista por un Estado palestino y se unen a la resistencia militar contra la agresión sionista/imperialista, deberían unir fuerzas. Este bloque debe luchar contra la influencia de las fuerzas liberales y reformistas dentro del movimiento que apoyan el plan franco-saudí. Su objetivo debe ser reemplazar a estas fuerzas capitulacionistas por un auténtico liderazgo antiimperialista y antisionista.

1.           Eine von Frankreich und Saudi-Arabien initiierte Konferenz der Vereinten Nationen, an der 125 Länder teilnahmen, verabschiedete die sogenannte „New Yorker Erklärung“, die eine langfristige Lösung für das Leid des palästinensischen Volkes verspricht. Die Erklärung wurde von der Türkei, Frankreich, Saudi-Arabien, Brasilien, Kanada, Ägypten, Indonesien, Irland, Italien, Japan, Jordanien, Mexiko, Norwegen, Katar, Senegal, Spanien, dem Vereinigten Königreich, der Europäischen Union und der Arabischen Liga unterzeichnet. Darüber hinaus kündigten die Premierminister Großbritanniens und Kanadas an, den Staat Palästina vor der UN-Versammlung im September unter bestimmten Bedingungen anzuerkennen.

2.           In der „New Yorker Erklärung“ heißt es: „Wir haben vereinbart, gemeinsam zu handeln, um den Krieg in Gaza zu beenden, eine gerechte, friedliche und dauerhafte Beilegung des israelisch-palästinensischen Konflikts auf der Grundlage der wirksamen Umsetzung der Zweistaatenlösung zu erreichen und eine bessere Zukunft für Palästinenser, Israelis und alle Völker der Region aufzubauen.“ Sie fordert außerdem die „ungehinderte Lieferung humanitärer Hilfe“ nach Gaza. Die Erklärung verurteilt Israels Angriffe auf Zivilisten und zivile Infrastruktur in Gaza sowie dessen „Belagerung und Hungersnot, die eine verheerende humanitäre Katastrophe und eine Schutzkrise verursacht haben“. Sie stellt jedoch die Gewalt der Unterdrücker und Unterdrückten auf die gleiche Stufe, da sie auch „die von der Hamas verübten Angriffe auf Zivilisten“ in Südisrael am 7. Oktober 2023 verurteilt. Beschämenderweise ist dies die erste Verurteilung der Hamas durch arabische Staaten.

3.           Schlimmer noch: Die Erklärung fordert, dass „die Hamas ihre Herrschaft im Gazastreifen beenden und ihre Waffen an die Palästinensische Autonomiebehörde übergeben muss“. Sie fordert außerdem die „Entsendung einer vorübergehenden internationalen Stabilisierungsmission“, was nichts anderes bedeuten würde als eine Besatzungstruppe zur Kontrolle des Gazastreifens und zur Entwaffnung des heldenhaften palästinensischen Widerstands. Während die Erklärung der hypermilitarisierten Atommacht Israel keine Grenzen setzt, fordert sie, dass ein palästinensischer Staat im Westjordanland und im Gazastreifen „nicht die Absicht haben darf, ein militarisierter Staat zu sein und bereit sein muß, an für alle Parteien vorteilhaften Sicherheitsvereinbarungen zu arbeiten“. Mit anderen Worten: Ein solcher Staat muss entmilitarisiert sein und die für Israel vorteilhaften Sicherheitsvereinbarungen akzeptieren.

4.           Die Revolutionär-Kommunistische Internationale Tendenz (RCIT) und die Internationalistische Sozialistische Liga (RCIT-Sektion in Israel/Besetztes Palästina) warnen, dass sich diejenigen, die mit dem palästinensischen Volk sympathisieren, keinen Illusionen hingeben sollten: Der französisch-saudische Plan für eine „Zweistaatenlösung“ ist eine gefährliche Falle! Während imperialistische Mächte und kapitalistische Regierungen des Globalen Südens vorgeben, das Selbstbestimmungsrecht des palästinensischen Volkes zu unterstützen, befürworten sie in Wirklichkeit die Entwaffnung des Widerstands und die Unterwerfung des palästinensischen Volkes. Ein solcher palästinensischer Staat wäre ein verarmtes und entmilitarisiertes Mini-Bantustan, das vollständig vom zionistischen Siedlerstaat abhängig wäre und ihn mit billigen Arbeitskräften versorgt – ähnlich den kleinen Pseudostaaten im Apartheid-Südafrika. Darüber hinaus würde eine solche „Lösung“ allen palästinensischen Flüchtlingen die Rückkehr in ihre Heimat verweigern, aus der sie 1948 und 1967 von den Zionisten vertrieben wurden. Kurz gesagt: Die „Zweistaatenlösung“ bedeutet die Verweigerung des Rechts der Palästinenser auf nationale Selbstbestimmung.

5.           Laut der „New Yorker Erklärung“ sollte ein solcher Staat von der Palästinensischen Autonomiebehörde des illegitimen Präsidenten Mahmud Abbas regiert werden, der seit 2006, als die Hamas zur stärksten Partei wurde, jegliche Wahlen verboten hat. Das Regime von Abbas, das auf den verräterischen Oslo-Abkommen von 1993 beruht, handelte stets als Agent des zionistischen Staates, da es nie gegen die israelischen Streitkräfte kämpfte, sondern mit diesen bei der Unterdrückung des palästinensischen Widerstands zusammenarbeitete. Kein Wunder, dass es von den palästinensischen Massen zutiefst verachtet wird! Es ist klar, dass ein von Abbas oder einem ähnlichen Tyrannen regiertes Mini-Bantustan jeden verhaften, foltern oder verschwinden lassen würde, der es wagt, sich der Unterdrückung zu widersetzen.

6.           Dennoch verurteilen Israel und die USA den französisch-saudischen Plan einer „Zweistaatenlösung“ aufs Schärfste. Sie sagen, er „ermutige die Hamas“, „belohne den Terror“ und ein palästinensischer Staat wäre eine „Ausgangsbasis zur Vernichtung Israels“. Die Gründe für ihren Widerstand sind klar. Erstens wollen die Zionisten und ihre amerikanischen Herren die Gebiete im Gazastreifen und im Westjordanland annektieren und die palästinensische Bevölkerung vertreiben. Zweitens verstehen die Unterstützer des Völkermords nur zu gut die Gründe, warum Frankreich und Saudi-Arabien diesen Plan initiiert haben. Die „New Yorker Erklärung“ wurde in diesem Moment nicht deswegen veröffentlicht, weil Israel einen Völkermord begeht. Es liegt auch nicht daran, dass die jüdische Bevölkerung Israels den Völkermord ablehnt – tatsächlich unterstützen ihn 80 % von ihnen. Sie ist einzig und allein dem heldenhaften Widerstand in Gaza zu verdanken, den die Zionisten trotz eines der schlimmsten Völkermorde der modernen Geschichte nicht niederschlagen konnten, sowie der riesigen und mutigen Massenbewegung, die weltweit Unterstützung für das palästinensische Volk organisiert. Diese Solidaritätsbewegung sowie der palästinensische Widerstand haben einen solchen globalen Druck erzeugt, dass sich nun selbst die treuen Anhänger der Zionisten öffentlich vom Siedlerstaat distanzieren müssen. Mit anderen Worten: Da es dem zionistischen Monster nicht gelingt, den palästinensischen Widerstand mit den Methoden des Völkermords zu brechen, versuchen europäische Imperialisten und arabische Tyrannen, die globale Intifada mit einem Plan B zu befrieden, der vorgeblich das Recht der Palästinenser auf nationale Selbstbestimmung anerkennt.

7.           Die RCIT und die ISL bekräftigen, dass die einzige Lösung die Zerstörung des zionistischen Terrorstaates und seine Ersetzung durch ein freies und rotes Palästina vom Fluss bis zum Meer ist. Ein solcher säkularer und demokratischer palästinensischer Staat würde allen Flüchtlingen die Rückkehr in ihre Heimat ermöglichen. Gleichzeitig würde er allen Bürgern (einschließlich der jüdischen Minderheit) gleiche kulturelle und religiöse Rechte garantieren. Es sollte eine Arbeiter- und Fellachenrepublik als Teil einer sozialistischen Föderation des Nahen Ostens sein. Ein solcher Staat wird das Ergebnis der Kombination des palästinensischen Widerstandskampfes mit der Arabischen Revolution und dem Sturz der Tyrannen und/oder einer schweren militärischen Niederlage des zionistischen Staates sein.

8.           Wir können davon ausgehen, dass viele Liberale, Reformisten und sogar einige Zentristen die „New Yorker Erklärung“ als einen Schritt in die richtige Richtung begrüßen werden. Ebenso ist es möglich, dass einige (klein-)bürgerliche Führer palästinensischer Parteien (einschließlich der Hamas) opportunistisch auf den Zug aufspringen. So hat beispielsweise die stalinistische Hadash in Israel bereits ihre Anerkennung für Macrons Plan zum Ausdruck gebracht. Eine solche Unterstützung stellt nichts anderes als einen Verrat am palästinensischen Befreiungskampf dar!

9.           Die RCIT und die ISL rufen alle aufrichtigen Unterstützer des palästinensischen Freiheitskampfes dazu auf, den französisch-saudischen Plan und seine Bantustan- „Zweistaatenlösung“ zu verurteilen. Die jüngsten Entwicklungen unterstreichen die Dringlichkeit, innerhalb der pro-palästinensischen Solidaritätsbewegung einen antiimperialistischen und antizionistischen Pol aufzubauen. Diejenigen, die die „Zweistaatenlösung“ ablehnen, die Ersetzung des zionistischen Gebildes durch einen palästinensischen Staat befürworten und sich auf die Seite des militärischen Widerstands gegen die zionistisch-imperialistische Aggression stellen, sollten ihre Kräfte bündeln. Ein solcher Block muss den Einfluss liberaler und reformistischer Kräfte innerhalb der Bewegung bekämpfen, die den französisch-saudischen Plan unterstützen. Sein Ziel muss es sein, diese kapitulationsbereiten Kräfte durch eine authentische antiimperialistische und antizionistische Führung zu ersetzen.

Uma conferência das Nações Unidas, impulsionada pela França e Arábia Saudita e com a participação de 125 países, emitiu a denominada “Declaração de Nova Iorque”, que proclamou uma resolução a longo prazo ao sofrimento do povo Palestino. 3. Pior ainda, a declaração exige que “o Hamas ponha fim ao seu domínio em Gaza e entregue suas armas à Autoridade Palestina”. Também exige “o envio de uma missão internacional temporária de estabilização”, o que significaria nada mais que uma força de ocupação para controlar Gaza e desarmar a heroica resistência palestina. Embora a declaração não imponha limites à potência nuclear hiper militarizada de Israel, exige que um Estado palestino na Cisjordânia e em Gaza não tenha “nenhuma intenção de ser um Estado militarizado e esteja pronto para trabalhar em arranjos de segurança benéficos para todas as partes”. 4. A Corrente Comunista Revolucionária Internacional (CCRI) e a Liga Socialista Internacionalista (Seção da CCRI em Israel/Palestinian Ocupada) alertamos que aqueles que  simpatizam com o povo palestino não devem manter ilusões: o plano franco-saudita de uma "solução dos Estados" é uma armadilha perigosa! Enquanto as potências imperialistas e os governos capitalistas do Sul Global fingem apoiar o direito do povo palestino à autodeterminação, na realidade, defendem o desarmamento da resistência e a subjugação do povo palestino. Tal Estado palestino seria um mini-bantustão empobrecido e desmilitarizado, completamente dependente do Estado colonizador sionista e fornecendo-lhe mão de obra barata – semelhante aos pequenos pseudoestados da África do Sul do Apartheid. Além disso, tal "solução" impediria que todos os refugiados palestinos retornassem à sua terra natal, de onde foram expulsos pelos sionistas em 1948 e 1967. Em suma, a "solução de dois Estados" significa a negação do direito dos palestinos à autodeterminação nacional.

5. De acordo com a "Declaração de Nova York", tal Estado deveria ser governado pela Autoridade Palestina do presidente ilegítimo Mahmoud Abbas, que proibiu qualquer eleição desde 2006, quando o Hamas se tornou o partido mais forte. O regime de Abbas, baseado nos traiçoeiros Acordos de Oslo de 1993, tem agido como agente do Estado sionista, pois nunca lutou contra as forças israelenses, ao contrário, colaborou com elas na repressão à resistência palestina. Não é de se admirar que seja profundamente desprezado pelas massas palestinas! É evidente que um mini-bantustão governado por Abbas ou um tirano similar prenderia, torturaria ou faria desaparecer qualquer um que ousasse resistir à opressão.

6. No entanto, Israel e os EUA denunciam veementemente o plano franco-saudita para uma "solução de dois Estados", afirmando que ele "encoraja o Hamas", "recompensa o terror" e que um Estado palestino seria uma "plataforma de lançamento para aniquilar Israel". As razões para sua oposição são claras. Primeiro, os sionistas e seus mestres americanos querem anexar os territórios de Gaza e da Cisjordânia e expulsar a população palestina. Segundo, os apoiadores do genocídio entendem muito bem as razões pelas quais a França e a Arábia Saudita iniciaram esse plano. A "Declaração de Nova York" foi lançada neste exato momento não porque Israel esteja cometendo um genocídio. Não é porque a população judaica israelense se opõe ao genocídio – na verdade, 80% dela o apoia. É apenas por causa da resistência heroica em Gaza, que os sionistas não conseguiram derrotar, apesar de um dos piores genocídios da história moderna, bem como do enorme e corajoso movimento de massa que organiza o apoio global ao povo palestino. É esse movimento de solidariedade e a resistência palestina que criaram tamanha pressão global que agora até mesmo os apoiadores leais dos sionistas precisam se distanciar publicamente do Estado colonizador. Em outras palavras, como o monstro sionista não consegue quebrar a resistência palestina com métodos de genocídio, as potências imperialistas europeias e os tiranos árabes tentam pacificar a Intifada global por meio de um Plano B que supostamente aceita o direito dos palestinos à autodeterminação nacional.

7. A CCRI e a LSI reiteram que a única solução é a destruição do estado terrorista sionista e sua substituição por uma Palestina livre e vermelha desde o rio  até o mar. Um Estado palestino laico e democrático permitiria que todos os refugiados regressem às suas casas. Ao mesmo tempo, garantiria a igualdade de direitos culturais e religiosos para todos os cidadãos (incluindo a minoria Judia). Poderia ser uma república oficial e felahin como parte de uma federação socialista do Oriente Médio. Tal estado será o resultado da combinação da luta de resistência da Palestina com a Revolução Árabe que derrotaria os Tiranos e/ou levaria a uma severa derrota militar do estado sionista.

8. Podemos esperar que muitos liberais, reformistas e até mesmo alguns centristas acolherão a "Declaração de Nova York" como um passo na direção certa. Da mesma forma, é possível que alguns líderes (pequeno-)burgueses de partidos palestinos (incluindo o Hamas) embarquem oportunisticamente na onda. Por exemplo, o estalinista Hadash em Israel já expressou seu apreço pelo plano de Macron. Tal apoio representa nada mais que uma traição à luta de libertação palestina!

9. A CCRI e a LSI convocam todos os apoiadores sinceros da luta dos palestinos pela liberdade a denunciarem o plano franco-saudita e sua "solução de dois Estados" para um bantustão. Os últimos acontecimentos sublinham a urgência de construir um polo anti-imperialista e anti-sionista dentro do movimento de solidariedade pró-Palestina. Aqueles que rejeitam a "solução de dois Estados", que apoiam a substituição da entidade sionista por um Estado palestino e que se aliam à resistência militar contra a agressão sionista/imperialista, devem unir forças. Tal bloco precisa lutar contra a influência das forças liberais e reformistas dentro do movimento que apoiam o plano franco-saudita. Seu objetivo deve ser substituir essas forças defensoras da capitulação por uma autêntica liderança anti-imperialista e anti-sionista.
