Report (with pictures) by the RCIT France, 18 September 2025, www.thecommunists.net
On 18th September, a massive mobilisation shook France. This was no surprise as the government expected around 800,000 demonstrators for this day. According to the ministry of the Interior, around 506,000 protestors were actually involved on that day (a million according to the union). Unlike the movement of 10th September, this one was led by the unions and answered the call of the French inter-union that agreed on a common action, a first since the massive protests of 2023 against the retirement reform. Those unions (CFDT, CGT, FO, CFE-CGC, CFTC, Unsa, FSU and Solidaires) also led numerous strikes around the country.
To take only the more impressive examples, 45% of the middle and high school teachers were on strike and EDF, a major French energy firm and the world's largest producer of electricity, announced that 1 out of 3 of their personnel was participating in the strike. Another example is that the metro in Paris has been completely immobilised during the day, with the exception of the automatic lines and the rush hours, even though then the traffic was heavily impacted. The unions also led a smaller procession to the French Economy and Finance ministry, forcing their way in.
Even though Paris was the heart of the protest (with a demonstration of 55,000 people strong) other big cities were massively impacted, such as Nantes (25,000 demonstrators) or Montpellier (20,000 demonstrators). Those strikes and demonstrations were not the only form of protest. Indeed, the workers and the youth organised the blockage of numerous sites, especially the bus depot and schools; according to the ministry of Education, around 80 high school were blocked.
The mobilisation on 18th September was confused by its demands. Indeed, there was no particular slogan, nor unique and clear claim but more a patchwork of pro-social and sometimes environmental measures. To take the words of many protestors the movement was more a “ ras le bol général “ (a general fed up effect) than a precise strike aiming for an objective. Nonetheless, the demands of the 10th remain, the crowd wanted Macron to resign and the budget Bayrou to be forgotten.
Indeed, this movement was thought as a way to force the government to abandon the former budget Bayrou that most of the crowd expected to come back, slightly changed, with the new Lecornu government. This fear about the purchasing power touched especially the youngest and oldest who are and would be even more directly impacted by the austerity policies of the former and new government. To take a single example 11,000 students still wait for their September university scholarship that has not been paid yet.
At the heart of the discussions among the crowd was the Tax Zucman – a proposal of the progressive economist Gabriel Zucman for a minimum tax on the wealth of the superrich. Even if the unions and parties did not demand such a measure, most of the crowd were convinced of the advantage of this tax ; we must nonetheless say that a significant fraction of the crowd saw this tax as too soft, for example we have a sign with “ taxe Zucman à 100% “ (Tax Zucman at 100% instead of the 2% claimed by the economist).
The repression of the movement has been both more and less violent than during the 10th protest. Indeed, if as on the 10th, 80,000 policemen and gendarmes were mobilised, and the largest cities put on drone surveillance, the Interior ministry also deployed 24 armoured vehicles around the country. This massive deployment led to 181 arrests, so much less than on the 10th but also to, officially, 11 wounded among the protestors, including a journalist. The police suffered an equal number of wounded. During the demonstrations, police made significant use of tear gas and plenty of violent un-blocking was.
As the demonstration as a whole there was not a single set of slogans but plenty of them, more or less precise and radical. Those changed a lot depending on the place and the organisations surrounding it. The unions were content with soft slogans such as “ on est là, même si macron le veut pas nous on est là, pour l’honneur des travailleurs et pour un monde meilleur “ (we are here even if Macron does not want it we are here, for workers honour and for a better world) but they also aimed at precise goals “ taxer les riches “ (tax the riches) or “ du fric, du fric, pour le service publique “ (money, money for the public services).
During police actions, the crowd was keener to sing slogans such as “ siamo tutti antifascisti “ or “ à bas l’Etat les flics et les fachos “ (down with the state, the cops and the fascists ). At the front of the demonstration, the protestors, mostly more radical youth, also had some concrete slogans such as “ grève blocage macron dégage “ (strike, blockage, macron out) or “ nous ce qu’on veut c’est la grève générale “ (what we want is general strike). It is important to note that, at different points of the demonstration, slogan against the Israeli genocide in Gaza and Palestine were most welcomed by the demonstrators such as “ le pink washing ne passera pas, trans, pédés, gouines, avec Gaza “ (the pink washing shall not pass, transexuals, homosexuals and lesbians stand with Gaza) or “ nous sommes tous des enfants de Gaza “ (we all are children of Gaza).
Comrades of the RCIT France participated at the protest, in Paris at the Place de la Bastille to Place de la Nation. There they talked with a number of demonstrators and trade unionists.
Report (with pictures) by the RCIT France, 10 September 2025, www.thecommunists.net
Preface from the Editorial Board: Below we publish a report from our comrades of the RCIT France. It is evident that the political situation in France in characterised by a deep crisis of the Macron regime and the strengthening of left-wing as well as right-wing forces. It is the responsibility of left-wing parties and trade unions to organise a determined response by preparing for a massive general strike against the capitalist austerity policy and to bring down the Macron regime. In order to push back the reactionary RN and other right-wing racist forces, socialists need to advocate the creation of an authentic workers government which decisively breaks with the capitalist system and opens the road to socialism. This is all the more relevant as we are living in a period of explosive contradictions where the masses are increasingly rebelling against the oppressors – from Palestine to Indonesia and Nepal!
* * * * *
On the 10th September more than 800 demonstrations and strikes took place in France. Those touched the big cities as well as the small towns and sometimes even villages. Roads were blocked early in the morning and public spaces occupied by the protesters. According to the trade unions, 250,000 people participated in the protests (175,000 according to the police).
At the “Place du Chatelet“ where we intervened, around 500 protesters stayed and occupied the street. Among them, we have seen various unions, such as the CGT, the CNT, Solidaire and SUD, the latest being particularly involved in today’s actions leading three strikes in Paris. Some political organisations were also there, such as RP, the UCL and the NPA-R which initiated a lot of slogans taken up by the crowd. The Lambertist POI as well as Alan Woods' RCI were also present.
The protest was a reaction to two decisions of the state. The first one was the “Budget Bayrou“ by the name of François Bayrou, the former prime minister. This state budget plan dangerously threatened social services by proceeding to a cut of 43 billions euros while increasing the state assistance to the enterprises and firms by 900 millions. Those cuts would have had such consequences as an “année blanche“ (“white year”) so the deindexation of all the social benefits or the removal of two public holidays.
The “Budget Bayrou“ and the anger it provoked led the government to launch a vote of confidence on the 8th September. This vote was lost by the macroniste (Ensemble Party) as both the left-wing as well as the far-right opposition voted against the Bayrou government. As a result Bayrou resigned only to be replaced in the evening by another member of Ensemble, the former Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu much appreciated by the right and far-right. This announcement provoked huge indignation among the masses, considering that the Ensemble Party, as a parliamentary minority, should not monopolize once more this function.
The state mobilised the repression apparatus. Around 80 000 police officers and gendarmes were deployed around the country and a last-minute drone surveillance unleashed over the major cities. Water cannons, trucks and special anti-riot units were mobilised such as the infamous BRAV-M. At the moment, 473 arrests have been confirmed but this number could increase during the night.
Among the slogans shared in the street, many had a more general character like “Siamo tutti antifascisti“ or “On est là même si macron le veut pas“ (We are here even if Macron does not want it). Nonetheless, some were more specific such as “Nous sommes tous des enfants de Gaza“ (We all are children of Gaza) and sometimes aiming for a specific demand such as “Macron démission“ (Macron resign!).
Comrades of the RCIT France participated in the demonstration in Paris and sold a number of our new French-language journal “Communisme révolutionnaire”.
* * * * *

Report by the Workers' Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group) [RCIT Section in South Korea], 6 September 2025
On September 6, despite the ongoing scorching heat, citizens and workers in Ulsan gathered once again for the 40th Emergency Action for Peace in Palestine, raising their voices for peace, freedom, and liberation. This action took place under weather conditions that, even in September, clearly reflected the reality of the climate crisis.
This rally was joined by around twenty comrades from various labor, social, and civic organizations, including the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), the Ulsan Branch of the Korean Metal Workers’ Union, dismissed workers from Hyundai Motor Irregular Workers’ Union (Issu Enterprise case), the Hyundai Glovis Ulsan Branch, the Association for the Legacy of Martyrs Seo Young-ho and Yang Bong-su, the Ulsan Migrant Center, the Workers’ Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group), and “March to Socialism.”
A particularly moving moment occurred when a participant from Türkiye, who had been observing the rally, stepped forward to join. He raised a placard and shouted “Free Palestine!” with us, expressing his solidarity. This moment once again confirmed that the struggle for Palestinian liberation is a universal struggle that transcends borders and unites peoples around the world.
Condemnations and Messages of Solidarity
Comrades who took the stage spoke in one voice to denounce Israel and the imperialist states for their war crimes. They highlighted:
The collusion of the United States, Britain, France, and other imperialist powers in the massacres in Gaza and plans to annex the West Bank.
The severe famine caused by the blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The collaboration of the Lee Jae-myung government with the Israeli regime, effectively siding with war crimes.
The export of Hyundai Heavy Industries’ excavators and the plunder of Gaza’s resources by the Korea National Oil Corporation.
All these criminal acts were condemned, and comrades in Ulsan called on workers and citizens to fight alongside the Palestinian people. They also shared examples of international protests, boycotts, and aid actions taking place worldwide, emphasizing that workers and citizens in South Korea must become part of this global movement of solidarity.
Upcoming Nationwide Action
Speakers also referred to the approaching 7 October. This date marks two years since Israel launched its genocidal assault and occupation of Gaza. Ahead of this, on 3 September, labor, social, and civic organizations from across the country – including Seoul, Daejeon, Jeonju, Suncheon, Busan, Daegu, and Ulsan – convened a national meeting and resolved to hold a nationwide mass rally in Seoul on October 18. This action will be a crucial milestone, bringing together all domestic and international forces fighting for peace, freedom, and liberation in Palestine.
Closing Remarks
The comrades gathered in Ulsan today strengthened their determination with chants: “Peace for Palestine!”, “Freedom for Palestine!”, “Liberation for Palestine!”, “Solidarity with Palestine!” and “Struggle!”
Finally, a quote was invoked that sharply awakens us to reality: “You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.” This does not only refer to the tragedy of the Palestinian people. It also serves as a warning that, in the near future, the workers and people of the Korean Peninsula and East Asia may also face the threat of imperialist war.
Comrades, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who, under the blazing sun today, raised their voices in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Our small cries, when joined together, will become a mighty wave leading not only to the liberation of Palestine but also to the liberation of all peoples around the world.

More than 200,000 people demonstrated in London against the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the endless war crimes of the Zionist state. Once more, the demonstration, which made its way to Whitehall, was organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al Asqa and the Stop the War Coalition.
People held placards with slogans like “Israel is a Terror State”, “End the Apartheid Regime”, “Free, Free Palestine” “We are all Palestinians”, etc. Comrades of the RCIT participated in the demonstration and sold our journals.

Note of the Editorial Board: Below we publish a report from our Argentinean section about a local popular protest against the corrupt President Milei in which our comrades played an active role. This protest, which forced the presidential caravan to flee, has been widely reported by global news agencies (see e.g. https://www.aljazeera.com/video/newsfeed/2025/8/28/argentinas-president-pelted-with-objects-at-campaign-rally, https://apnews.com/article/argentina-javier-milei-karina-milei-cristina-fernandez-de-kirchner-peronism-e9f6fbd66fa2decba33f14e7aab78f84, https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/argentinas-milei-rushed-campaign-event-protesters-throw-rocks-car-2025-08-27/)

On Wednesday, 27 August, Argentine President Javier Milei visited the Lomas de Zamora district in the province of Buenos Aires, to campaign for his legislative candidates. Days earlier, he held a campaign rally in the province's interior and was booed.
The same thing happened in Lomas de Zamora, where around 200 people gathered to express their rejection of the president's visit. Our party, Convergencia Socialista (RCIT Section in Argentina), was present at the demonstration with banners and the slogan "Out with Milei!"
As the presidential motorcade passed, there was a clash between protesters and a group of Milei supporters. The protesters also threw trash and all kinds of objects at the SUV transporting the president, along with his sister (who has been accused of corruption) and his party's main candidate. They were all forced to flee in face of popular condemnation.
This scene was later repeated in the province of Corrientes, when the ruling party attempted to campaign in the streets. These events, and the absenteeism in the recent elections, reveal a political regime in crisis and a very weak government, which depends on the election results and IMF loans for its survival.
Successive corruption scandals and the dire economic situation are increasingly weakening the government. The big capitalists are already fed up with Milei and are likely to prosecute him once he is no longer president, in order to maintain the appearance of democracy. It is also likely that after the elections, if the crisis deepens, the bourgeoisie will seek an institutional solution to replace Milei and to avoid a popular rebellion.

Report on the 39th Emergency Action in Ulsan for the Liberation of Palestine, Workers' Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group) [RCIT Section in South Korea], 23 August 2025
Today in Ulsan, the 39th Emergency Action for Peace in Palestine took place. This action was not just a small rally in a local city, but an act of international solidarity to defend the survival and freedom of the Palestinian people, and an important moment exposing how Korean society is complicit in the imperialist war crimes.
Participants and the Power of Solidarity
Today’s action was joined by a total of 25 people, including full-time officials of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) Ulsan Regional Headquarters, full-time officials of the Ulsan Branch of the Korean Metal Workers’ Union, a dismissed worker from Hyundai Motor’s subcontractor Isu Enterprise, members of Hyundai Green Food Ulsan Branch, Hyundai Glovis Ulsan Branch, Hyundai Heavy Industries Subcontractor Branch, the chairperson of Hyundai Steel Subcontractor Branch and family, solidarity citizens from the “Hornet” network, the Workers’ Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group), March to Socialism, and others.
The very fact that trade unions, regular and irregular workers, dismissed workers, families, socialist organizations, and citizens gathered together has deep significance. This gathering goes beyond the Palestinian issue – it is a cornerstone for common struggles against the exploitation and oppression of capital and imperialism across Korean society.
Condemning the War Crimes of HD Hyundai and KNOC
During the action, we clearly named the Korean corporations complicit in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians. HD Hyundai and the Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) are pushing forward gas development off the coast of Gaza, seeking profit on the blood of the Palestinian people. This is not mere resource development—it is a war crime and an imperialist plunder.
If, in the very moment Palestinians are being massacred, Korean state-owned enterprises and chaebols are reaping profits, then it is clearly a problem we must confront directly. From Ulsan, we will continue to expose this criminal collusion and amplify the voices of workers and people refusing to participate in it.
War Crisis in East Asia and the Korean Peninsula
Solidarity with Palestinians is inseparable from the war crisis in East Asia and the Korean Peninsula. Trump’s so-called “Alliance Modernization” means higher cost-sharing for U.S. troop presence, increased military spending, and the expansion of the scope of U.S.-ROK military alliance wars. This translates into heavier tax burdens and military sacrifices for Korean workers and people, pushing the peninsula further toward war.
As we stand with the Palestinian people, we must also fight against the U.S.-Japan-Korea imperialist alliance. Preventing war on the Korean Peninsula and winning peace and liberation together with the peoples of East Asia is the true meaning of international solidarity.
Tasks of International Solidarity Beginning in Ulsan
Ulsan is the center of South Korea’s capitalism, a hub of heavy industry, and at the same time, a rear base for the imperialist war machine. Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Motor, Hyundai Steel, and others exploit workers within the global capitalist system, while also engaging in weapons, military, and energy projects that directly and indirectly serve imperialist wars.
Our gathering today is not just about mentioning Palestine – it is an attempt to weave together the struggles of Ulsan’s workers and people with those of the international masses. Even a small meeting of 25 people can be a seed of international solidarity and the starting point of proletarian internationalist practice.
The Road Ahead
We will not stop here. We must continue to hold regular actions condemning the Palestinian genocide and build a broader network of joint struggle with more workers and citizens. We need to expose and resist the complicity of HD Hyundai, KNOC, and the ruling class in South Korea – including the Lee Jae-myung administration – in the massacre of Palestinians.
At the same time, we must expand the anti-war and peace struggle against the war policies of U.S. imperialism and the South Korean ruling class in East Asia and on the Korean Peninsula. Our internationalism cannot remain in words – it can only live and breathe through practice and solidarity in the field.
Conclusion
Comrades, thank you for joining the 39th Emergency Action for Peace in Palestine today in Ulsan. Though our gathering may seem small, the determination within it is not. The peace, freedom, and liberation of Palestine are directly tied to our own liberation.
For the peace, freedom, and liberation of Palestine!
International solidarity, workers’ liberation, struggle!
Report (with Photos and Videos) from a Rally in Vienna on 15 August 2025, Austrian Section of the RCIT, www.rkob.net and www.thecommunists.net
A number of activists gathered in front of the Austrian parliament for a rally against the deportations of Chechens and Ingush. Shamefully, the Austrian and other EU governments are increasingly sending Chechen and Ingush refugees to Russia where they face brutal persecution by the Putin dictatorship.
The rally was organized by the Multiculture Democracy Initiative and led by Dunajeva Roza - the representative of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (exile) in Austria. Several Chechen and Ukrainian speakers spoke at the rally, as well as Michael Pröbsting, the International Secretary of the RCIT.
Michael denounced the deportations and stated our solidarity with the Chechen and Ingush people. We support the liberation struggle of the Chechen and Ukrainian people against Russian imperialism. He also stressed that the oppressed peoples must not trust any imperialist state as their policy is only driven by power and profit. The oppressed must support each other - without and against the Great Powers.

Report (with photos and videos) from a demonstration in Vienna on 8 August 2025, Austrian section of the RCIT, www.thecommunists.net
Dozens of activists gathered in the city centre of Vienna for a rally to show their solidarity with the Palestinian people. Many passersby stopped to join the protest against the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Several speakers addressed the rally, including Michael Pröbsting, International Secretary of the RCIT. In his speech, he pointed out that despite the world's condemnation of Israeli mass murder, many governments continue to trade with the Zionist state, supplying it with weapons, raw materials, etc.
This is not only true for Western states, but also for General Sisi, the military dictator of Egypt. Despite verbal expressions of sympathy for the Palestinian people, the regime has closed the border with Gaza and does not lift a finger to help the suffering people. Just a few days ago, General Sisi even signed a major natural gas deal with Israel worth $35 billion, making the Arab country dependent on Israel in the long term. This underscores that the struggle for the liberation of Palestine must go hand in hand with the overthrow of the corrupted Arab dictatorships.
In conclusion, Michael emphasized that there can be no neutrality in this war. It is important to take sides with the Palestinian people and their heroic resistance. Our struggle will continue until all of Palestine is free within its historic 1948 borders!

About 300,000 people marched in Central London to demand an end of Israel’s policy to starve Gaza. The lively demonstration was organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al Asqa and the Stop the War Coalition.
People, many with a migrant background, chanted slogans and held placards with slogans like “Free, Free Palestine”, “Starvation is Genocide”, “We are all Palestinians”, “For a Palestinian state from the River to the Sea”, “Stop Arming Israel”, etc. Comrades of the RCIT participated in the demonstration and sold our journals.
Reflecting increasing public outrage against the persecution of Palestine Action as a “terrorist organisation”, many people assembled at parliament square to show their support. Once again, police suppressed this protest and arrested 522 people.
By the Executive Committee of Convergencia Socialista (RCIT Section in Argentina), 30.07.2025, https://convergenciadecombate.blogspot.com
Today, once again, the national government, instead of fulfilling its obligation to defend pensioners, savagely repressed another march by our comrades. The repressive forces arrested several protesters, including our comrade Francisco Ramos, who is also a delegate (shop steward in Argentina, Ed.) at the metalworking factory Emu in the City of Buenos Aires.
The provisional list we have so far of those arrested is as follows: Federico Burgos, DNI 30210971, Leandro Mariatain, DNI 30034252, Javier Mendoza, DNI 26079906, Hugo Eischler, DNI 24767503, Alejandro Carrizo, DNI 30336828, Francisco Ramos, DNI 35472098, Agustín Cano, DNI 38454980
We call on all left-wing and democratic forces to gather in front of the 4th precinct in Buenos Aires City, to demand the freedom and dismissal of those imprisoned for fighting. 425 Zabaleta Street, Parque Patricios.

Calle Zabaleta 425, Parque Patricios.
Report (with photos and videos) from a rally in Vienna on 20 July 2025, Austrian section of the RCIT, www.thecommunists.net
About 500 people demonstrated in front of the Austrian parliament on 20 July to protest against the Israeli aggression against Syria. The rally was organised by the “National Syrian Society in Austria”.
It was a lively protest reflecting the outrage of the Syrian people against the Israeli military intervention in the southern province of Suwayda. A number of Syrian speakers addressed the rally.
Our comrade Michael Pröbsting, International Secretary of the RCIT, was invited to address the rally and held two speeches. He strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and stated that in the conflict between Syria and the Zionist state respectively its agents (like the pro-Israeli Druze leader Hikmet al-Hijri), we fully support the military struggle of the Syrian forces. Michael stated that Israel is by a its very nature an expansionist, warmongering state and, as such, an enemy of the Palestinian and all Arab peoples. He also emphasised that we advocate a free Syria where the labouring masses take power and where all groups – Arabs and Kurds, Sunni, Shia, Alawites, Druzes, and Christians – can peacefully live together as equals.

More than 80,000 people marched in Central London to demand an end of genocide in Gaza. Starting from The Embankment demonstrators, many of them migrants with origins in Muslim countries, marched to Whitehall and Downing Street despite pouring rain. Once again, the lively demonstration was organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al Asqa and the Stop the War Coalition.
Protestors, many with a migrant background, held placards with slogans like “Israel is a Terror State”, “Free, Free Palestine”, “We are all Palestinians now”, “For a Palestinian state from the River to the Sea”, “Stop Arming Israel”, etc. Comrades of the RCIT participated in the demonstration and sold our journals.
It was reported that 55 supporters of Palestine Action had been arrested by the police under the Terrorism act. Shamefully, this non-violent organisation has been proscribed and banned by the state and anyone found guilty could spend 14 years in prison.
Report on the 37th Emergency Action in Ulsan for the Liberation of Palestine, Workers' Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group) [RCIT Section in South Korea], 12 July 2025
Today, the 37th emergency action campaign for Palestinian liberation was held in Ulsan. Despite the scorching heat, a total of 19 comrades participated, including the Senior Vice-Chair and executives of the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), the leadership of the Hyundai Glovis branch of the Korean Metal Workers’ Union, Chairpersons Seo Young-ho and Yang Bong-soo from the Hyundai Motor Martyrs Association, comrade Nam Jung-ah from the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union (KTU), civic comrades from Malbeop, comrades from the Workers' Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group), "March to Socialism," the Ulsan Regional Committee, and Pakistani migrant worker comrades who have been consistently observing this campaign.
The participants raised their voices powerfully today. We condemned the blockade and massacre in Gaza by Israel, the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by the U.S. and Israel, the bombing of Iran and expansion of war in the Middle East, the oppression of queer people, the export of construction machinery by Hyundai to Israel, resource plunder by the Korea National Oil Corporation, and arms exports by the South Korean government.
We declared all these massacres and wars to be jointly orchestrated by the United States, Israel, and the South Korean government—and we condemned them all.
We chanted: Israel, immediately lift the blockade on food and humanitarian aid to Palestine! Stop the massacre in Gaza and withdraw completely! Free, Free Palestine! From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!
We thank all comrades who contributed to today’s campaign through speeches, sound equipment, labour songs, and performances of Kofia - Leve Palestina and Krossa Sionismen.
Today, once again, we firmly observe the situation in Palestine and the broader Middle East with sharp awareness—and we continue on the path toward liberation.
Stop the massacre!
Freedom and liberation for Palestine!
Down with the Zionist beast!
From the Jordan River to the Sea, let us win a red, liberated Palestine!

Free, Free Palestine!
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!”

Report on the 36th Emergency Action in Ulsan for the Liberation of Palestine, Workers' Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group) [RCIT Section in South Korea], 28 June 2025
Saturday, June 28, 2025, marks the 631st day since Israel launched its full-scale genocide against the Palestinian people. The data, compiled by the Government Media Office in Gaza after surpassing 600 days of massacres, presents harrowing statistics that can only be described by one word: genocide.
Over the past month, the Middle East has once again been engulfed in the flames of war. The Israeli-American airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, followed by Iran’s massive missile retaliation, have sent shockwaves across the world. In this exchange of attacks, over 600 people in Iran were killed and more than 1,500 injured; in Israel, more than 20 were killed and hundreds wounded.
At the core of these developments is Israel’s unrelenting ambition for hegemony, acting as the attack dog of U.S. imperialism. From Gaza and the West Bank to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and now Iran—Israel maintains a state of perpetual war across the region to justify its colonial and military domination.
On June 22 in particular, the United States spent at least 23 trillion KRW (approx. $16.5 billion USD) in just 25 minutes to bomb three nuclear sites in Iran—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. This amount could have instead provided 10 million KRW (approx. $7,000 USD) to each of Gaza’s 2.3 million residents.
This is the very essence of the barbaric capitalist era—an imperialist war regime.
Although the direct confrontation between Iran and Israel has now entered a temporary ceasefire, Israel has already redirected its military might toward Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, resuming its massacres. This is the true nature of the Zionist settler-colonial state.
Today’s 36th emergency solidarity rally for peace in Palestine in Ulsan coincided with the KCTU’s mass rally in Seoul, making it difficult for many comrades to attend. Nevertheless, we stood our ground with unwavering passion for international solidarity.
We extend our deepest thanks to the comrades who joined us in the sweltering heat: Comrades from the Hyundai Glovis Ulsan branch of the Korean Metal Workers’ Union; Comrades from subcontractor company Isu at Hyundai Motors; Comrades from the Seoyoungho Beekeeping Thermo-Social Association and hornet-fighting citizen activists; March to Socialism Ulsan Committee; Workers’ Revolutionary Party (Preparation Group); Special thanks to Comrade Lee Do-han, Executive Director of the Thermo-Social Association, who gave two powerful speeches; to the comrades from Isu for providing vehicle support; and to Comrade Han Beom-soo for handling the sound equipment. We are truly grateful to all.
Though our numbers may have been small, our voices for Palestine’s freedom and liberation were not. Internationalism is not just words—it is action. Silence is complicity; solidarity is our weapon. From Ulsan, from Korea, from every corner of the world, we will never cease our solidarity for Palestinian liberation and the defeat of imperialism.
Peace to Gaza!
Freedom to Palestine!
Down with Zionism and Imperialism!

By Laurence Humphries, RCIT Britain, 21st June 2025
More than 150,000 people marched in Central London to protest against the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Once again, the lively demonstration was organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al Asqa and the Stop the War Coalition. Protestors, many with a migrant background, held placards with slogans like “Free, Free Palestine”, “We are all Palestinians now”, “Hands off Iran”, “Stop Bombing Gaza” and “Blood on Starmer's Hands”.
Comrades of the RCIT participated in the demonstration and sold our journals.
